Physical Intervention for Door Supervisors Course
Course Overview
This 3-day Level 2 Physical Intervention course is designed for door supervisors and security staff who work in environments where managing challenging or aggressive behaviour may be necessary. The course focuses on the safe, lawful, and proportionate use of physical intervention techniques within the private security industry, in compliance with SIA licensing requirements, UK legislation, and health and safety protocols.
Participants will learn to prevent, manage, and de-escalate conflict, while acquiring practical skills in non-aggressive physical interventions, disengagement techniques, and escorting methods that protect both the individual and the operative. The extended 3-day format provides additional time for hands-on practice, scenario-based learning, and assessment preparation.
